Just read Jenn’s blog @ jenn.nu and visited the website she blogged about, autumnlove.us, and am now really wanting to get back into photography. I really should, I mean I just got this awesome camera (canon digital rebel) for Christmas, blah blah blah. I want to get into creative photography, I take pictures of my kid all the time lol. Although I do find that I get like 95% blurry pictures out of that camera, I should get inventive and play with the settings. Ugh… I’m off to drool at photo gallery.

It seems my house is about to go from only having Dial-Up access to internet for 6 years, and not being able to get anything better… to possibly having high-speed internet (1.5 mb/s download speed) by March 6th! Yeah Yeeah. Not to mention it would actually save us money by bundling tv and internet!
New Phone & Such

After much anticipation on my part, I finally got my tax refund deposited into my bank account this morning. Woot. First thing I did was order my new Samsung Instinct phone (sprint) from letstalk.com, got the unlimited everything plan which I’m excited about. Should hopefully have phone by Tuesday night, it ships 2-day via UPS and I don’t believe UPS delivers anything on Saturdays. Oh, and I opted for “keep my number” since I’m out of contract now with AT&T and keeping the same number just seems easier, it said on the site that they “will try their hardest to get your same number, although it can take up to a week” A WEEK? Are you Kidding?? I think I can check order status on letstalk.com anyway. I just can’t wait to have access to unlimited Broadband internet, holy hell.. Living with dial-up internet is majorly suckish.
In other news, apparently Rihanna’s bruised up picture (post Chris Brown attack) is floating around the internet. Looks really bad, like he didn’t just hit her once or whatever, but spent a good amount of time with physical attack. I don’t think it was an official release, tmz.com doesn’t have the picture up any more that I see. Other news stories online say police are probing into release of picture. Oh wait, try searching for it on google images and you might be able to find it. Some sites say that Chris could get up to 9 years in jail. By the way, its a wee bit off topic but I very much prefer Rihanna with short hair, don’t you?
So Ready For That Tax Refund

I’m patiently, patiently waiting for my tax refund to be direct deposited into my banking account. IRS.gov says it’ll be there by Feb. 24th, but the IRS direct deposits on Fridays so I SHOULD have it this Friday. I will be crushed if it’s not in there. =/ I decided just last night that I was switching cell phone carriers to Sprint and getting the Samsung Instinct phone with the Unlimited Everything Plan. What do I get unlimited with the everyday plan, you say? Well I’m more than happy to tells you! Unlimited: minutes, messaging, INTERNET, sprint TV, sprint MUSIC and all for like $100 a month. But, bonus.. I get 20% off because the company I work for has some special thingy with them. The have lots of other sweet plans too, I had to go for unlimited minutes especially.. I’m on the phone talking to my guy A Lot. The only thing I’m a little worried about is that Sprint’s signal map says my house is only in the “fair” zone, meaning lower than average signal. But it shows plenty of signal for Sprint Broadband. I’ll just have to wait until I get it and see how much signal I get here at the house, if its not good then I’ll have to return the phone o_O I hope it doesn’t come to that!!

Oops! I was testing ping.fm, a neato little website that lets you update lots of sites (twitter, facebook, wordpress, myspace, delicious, etc) all from one place, annnnnnnd note to self.. I don’t want wordpress included in “status” updates, lol blogs only please. Now I have to delete those annoying little status “blogs” on here.

I’d like to thank you for invoicing my dvd purchase on 1/14 and letting me finally receive it on 2/12. I love that you expect all purchases to be paid within 30 days of the invoice date, and I am so happy that you have allowed me a total of 2 days to get a payment to you. Like I’ve said before, my fiance lives almost 800 miles away from me and I don’t plan to be seeing him again until he comes down for another visit in March for our sons 1st birthday and our wedding. So without him here, I didn’t have any plans.. I worked for 4 hours, asked one of my friends if she was up for a movie and we went to see “Paul Blart: Mall Cop”. My fiance got rather upset about this, that I would go out with one of my friends on Valentine’s Day. He suggested that instead I take my 10.5 month old son out to dinner. How absurd is that? To be sitting in some restaurant, just mommy and baby, surrounded by tables of lovey dovey coupledom?? No Thanks, I’ll Pass.

I should have gotten more sleep. Oh well, I’m on my 2nd cup of cream & sugar loaded coffee already. Woot. Seriously considering the possibility of going to see “He’s Just Not That Into You” tonight, wonder who I can find that’s willing to go with me 
That’s what sucks about your fiance being like 750 miles away, you miss lots and lots of holidays together. We’ve been together 4 years now and I don’t think we’ve ever spent His birthday together o_O
